Tulsi

Tulsi ji is said to be one of the most sacred plant in Hindu households. Its literally worshipped daily.. We call it "Vrinda devi" or "Tulsi maa"
Time to find out the reason behind it..?

Tulsi is an excellent herb which acts as preventive medicine & it has enormous therapeutic value.
Tulsi acts as an adaptogen. 
An adaptogen is natural substance that helps your body adapt to stress & promotes mental balance.

-Tulsi leaves and seeds, with black pepper, for malaria.
-Leaves are used for diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.
-Its extract with Vaseline base is used as an ointment for eczema.
-An alcohol extract is used for stomach ulcers and eye diseases.
-An essential oil made from the leaves is used for insect bites.
-Post operative. Its ointment is used to heal the wounds & scars.
