सुसंस्कृत सक्षम समर्पित नारी=सुदृढ़ समाज

लोकतंत्र को और मजबूत बनाने के लिए विधायी संस्थाओं में नारी शक्ति का प्रतिनिधित्व सुनिश्चित करना अत्यावश्यक है। 

नारी तू नारायणी...

नारी है शक्ति स्वरूपा... 

नारी है जगतजननी ये हम सुनते आए हैं...

इस बात में कोई दो राय नहीं कि अगर सुसंस्कृत, सुशिक्षित, संकल्पित, राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पित, सक्षम, दायित्व बोध से परिचित नारी को समस्याओं का समाधान ढूंढने का अवसर मिलेगा, निर्णय प्रक्रिया में उचित स्थान मिलेगा तो, वह अवश्य ही स्वर्णिम इतिहास रच देगी। 

आरक्षित होना मुझे कभी भी समानता का आधार नहीं लगता पर अगर सामाजिक परिस्थितियों की वजह से आरक्षण का सहारा लेना ही पड़े, तो प्रतिनिधित्व करने का अवसर उन शक्ति स्वरूपाओ को मिलना चाहिए- जिनकी शक्ति और सामर्थ्य को, संस्कारों के बोध से, वह स्वयं मर्यादित करना जानती हो। मात्र कुतर्क कर स्वातंत्र्य की बोली ना बोले, अपितु सर्व समाज के लिए जिसके हृदय में ममत्व हो, जो स्वच्छंदता और स्वतंत्रता में भेद करना भलीभांति जानती हो। 

जो अपने gender को नहीं अपितु, अपनी योग्यता को किसी भी स्थान को पाने का साधन समझे। जिसे यह पता हो कि पद अथवा सामर्थ्य को पाने के बाद निष्पक्षता, निडरता और निश्चल भाव से जन प्रतिनिधित्व करना, उसका दायित्व है।  

आधी आबादी नहीं वह संपूर्ण समाज का कल्याण करने हेतु अपने सामर्थ्य का प्रयोग करे। जिसमें निर्णय क्षमता हो, जो दायरों को पुन: परिभाषित करना जानती हो, जिसमें नयी राह गढ़ने की क्षमता हो पर, सिर्फ इसलिए लीक से परे नहीं सोचे या कहें, क्यूंकि उसे बंधन मुक्त होना है। बल्कि इसलिए सोचे या कहें क्यूंकि उसे लगता हो कि यह आनेवाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक बेहतर समाजिक परिवेश देने में सहायक होगा। 

जिसे जीवन के कटु सत्य का अनुभव हो पर कुंठा और द्वेष भाव, जिसके हृदय मे घर ना कर पाया हो। 

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अद्वितीय, अद्भुत और अनोखा है। हर नारी को स्वयं पर गर्व होना चाहिए पर, अहंकार नहीं। 

सहारा ना लेना उसका उद्देश्य हो जब तक कि परिस्थितियों को वो स्वयं सम्भाल सके, पर विचारों के आदान-प्रदान और परामर्श का मार्ग सदैव खुला रखना होगा। नारी और पुरुष कोई शत्रु नहीं अपितु समाज के दो ध्रुव हैं, जिनके परस्पर सहयोग से सामाजिक सौहार्द बना रहता है। शिव और शक्ति, श्रीकृष्ण और रुक्मिणी जी, माता सीता और  प्रभु श्री राम, श्री हरि और माँ लक्ष्मी.. हमारी अध्यात्मिक चेतना में, दोनों- स्त्री और पुरुष एक दूसरे के पूरक हैं, सहयोगी हैं। किसी भी प्रतिस्पर्द्धा के द्योतक नहीं। 

जो नारी किसी की पुत्री, पत्नी, मित्र, संबंधी होने का सहारा ले अपने सामर्थ्य को प्रदर्शित करने की पहली सीढ़ी न बनाए, ऐसी होनी चाहिए जनप्रतिनिधि। किसी परिवार का होना, गलत नहीं, पर योग्यता के आधार पर स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा करने का माद्दा होना चाहिए।

अगर स्वयं को मातृशक्ति कहलाना अच्छा लगता है, तो माँ भगवती सी शक्ति, समझ, सहनशीलता, क्षमा करने की क्षमता और अपने प्रत्येक निर्णय पर अडिग रहने की कला और पराजय को स्वीकारने की शक्ति होनी चाहिए। 

निर्णय के पीछे आवेश नहीं अपितु पुख्ता कारण हो और जिसे संपूर्ण ब्रहमांड के समक्ष निडरता और आत्मविश्वास के साथ अकेले प्रस्तुत करने का नारी में साहस हो। 

निर्णय सही या गलत हो सकते हैं पर स्वार्थ से, द्वेष से, भय से प्रेरित नहीं होने चाहिए, निर्णय सदैव समग्र चिंतन तथा उसकी परिणति के पाश्चात्य होनेवाले परिवर्तनों को अपनी क्षमता के अनुरूप तोलने के पश्चात लेने चाहिए। 

विधायिका (राजनीति) कोई आजीविका अथवा सामाजिक प्रतिष्ठा पाने का साधन नहीं बल्कि सेवा करने का माध्यम है। 

पर यहाँ सेवा और राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पण को परिभाषित करना अत्यंत अवश्यक है, अगर सामाजिक दायित्वों से विमुख होकर, अपने सांसारिक धर्म का निर्वहन न करने को, कोई समर्पण समझने की भूल करे तो, वो अवश्य ही मातृभूमि का ऋण लेकर इस संसार से जाएगा। 

कोई अगर इस धरा पर आया है तो उसे षोडश कलाओं में निपुण होने की पूर्ण कोशिश करनी चाहिए। 

संपूर्णता बिना, स्वतंत्रता किसी भी मार्ग पर, सांसारिक व आध्यात्मिक मार्ग मे अग्रसर होने के लिए, प्रयाप्त नहीं। 

साध्वी की भांति सेवा करनी है, तो समस्त भोग विलासिता के साधनों का परित्याग कर, चका चौंध और छपास-दिखास से परे होना होगा और अगर आज के परिवेश में यह सम्भव नहीं तो प्रत्येक सांसारिक दायित्व का निर्वहन कर, अपने समय का सदुपयोग कर, स्वयं को निर्लिप्त रखते हुए कार्य/ सेवा करेंगे, तो सन्यासी से ज्यादा गृहस्थ रह, जीवन में वैराग्य प्राप्त कर, मुक्ति मार्ग पर अग्रसर होंगे। 

सेवा--दान नहीं, स्पर्श नहीं...सेवा यथासम्भव सहायता करना तो है ही, पर सेवा वो है जो आनेवाली पीढ़ियों का भविष्य सुनिश्चित कर सके। सामजिक परिकल्पना को सुदृढ़ कर सके।

समाज के प्रति समर्पित सेवाभावी व्यक्ती पर समाज को इतना विश्वास होना चाहिए कि वह सुनेगा और जो उत्तम से उत्तम कर सकता होगा, वो करेगा। 

आरक्षण के बाद भी अगर सरपंच-पति, पार्षद-पति, विधायक-पति सत्ता की बागडोर संभालेंगे तो यह सही मायने में प्रभावशाली नहीं होगा। जिसे पदभार मिले, वहीं उस कार्य को, अपनी समझ से करे, न कि कोई दूसरा।

अगर जीवन के एकाकीपन को दूर करने के लिए हम भीड़ में हैं और स्वयं को समाजसेवी समझ रहे हैं तो यह हमारी बड़ी भूल है। कोई भी कार्य, सामाजिक दायित्व निर्वाह करते हुए भी, हमारे सीमित समय और साधनों मे प्राथमिकता हो, तो हम उसके प्रति समर्पित है, अन्यथा वो मात्र एक विकल्प है, संकल्प नहीं। और जो कार्य "संकल्प नहीं हो" तो समय व्यतीत होने और परिस्थितियों के बदलने के साथ बोझ लगने लगता है और मैं मानती हूँ कि नारी को अधिकार प्राप्ति की चाह में, किसी बोझ के नीचे दबने की, कोई अवश्यकता नहीं। जीवन में किसी भी कार्य का चयन करना हो तो, विचार करने के बाद जो अंतःकरण को ठीक लगे उसे चुने, चाहे उस राह में अग्रसर होने के लिए कोई आपको प्रोत्साहित करे या नहीं। मार्ग और दिशा चुनने के पश्चात्‌ लौटने की या मुड़कर पीछे देखने की अभिलाषा लक्ष्य प्राप्ति में बाधक होती है। इसलिए जैसे अर्जुन ने मछली की आँख के लक्ष्य को साधा था वैसे ही प्रत्येक जीवन लक्ष्य को साधना चाहिए। चाहे वह सेवा हो या समाज में अपनी भूमिका निभाना या फिर मातृभूमि एवं सामाजिक ऋणों को चुकाने का प्रयास। 

नारी का प्रतिनिधित्व मात्र महिलाओं के लिए नहीं, समस्त समाज और संसार के लिए होना चाहिए। अगर ऐसे सुदृढ़ विचार, परिपक्व मानसिकता और सांसारिक शिष्टाचार की समझवाली नारी को प्रतिनिधित्व मिलेगा, तो निःसंदेह समाज का कल्याण होगा।

ऐसी नारी को सामाजिक, आर्थिक, प्रशानिक शक्ति मिलेगी तो निसंदेह ही हमारे विकसित भारत के लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति में वो गति लाएगी और भारत माता का वैभवशाली इतिहास पुनः स्थापित होगा। 

नारी आरक्षण गर बैसाखी नहीं अपितु स्वयं की क्षमताओ को संपूर्णता देने का माध्यम है और उससे अगर योग्यता के आधार पर बेटियों को अवसर मिलेगा तो हमें इसका पूर्ण समर्थन करने में कोई संकोच नहीं होना चाहिए।

पाषाण शीला का हृदय द्रवित हुआ
बाबा बौखनाग की भी कृपा हुई असीम
यह है आस्था और भक्ति की शक्ति...
काशी में पूजन से उत्तरकाशी में होती श्रमवीरों की मुक्ति
जो सनातन के मर्म व भक्ति की महिमा हैं समझते,
भारत की धर्मध्वजा, सुरक्षित है ऐसे ही करकमलों में!

झारखण्ड का ताज मिला है, हीरेवाली माटी में
पहली बार कमल खिला है काश्मीर की घाटी में
यह है कांग्रेस मुक्त अभियान कि इसके विधान बनियो !
"आप" को करके बाहर पुण्य का काम करियो
चली है सुशासन कि बयार कि अब इसका मान रखियो

जब अपना भारत बेगानी भाषा बोला था
जब 47  को AK-47  से डरते देखा था
जब खुद्दारी को गद्दारी का पानी भरते देखा था 
जब सिंदूरों को तंदूरों में जलकर मरते देखा था
अब तो विक्रम का सिंघासन वरदानी भाषा बोलेगा
मौसम जो भी हो शासक, हिन्दुस्तानी भाषा बोलेगा !!

भारतीय संस्कृति से डर, भारत माँ का दामन तज देंगे

निष्क्रियता त्यागो!!

निष्क्रियता त्यागो!! शासकों जागो !!! 

आज फिर से "मौन-व्रत" टूटा,
कहा-"ऐसा अपराध ना हो दोबारा!!"

हम कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठायेंगे 
हम कोई कानूनी संशोधन नहीं लायेंगे 
मांगेंगे इन्साफ संसद में-चीख-चीख कर 
पर, ऐसे अपराधो के खिलाफ,आवाजों को दबायेंगे 
और फिर सरकार में बैठ चिल्लायेंगे - ऐसा  अपराध ना हो दोबारा!!
जन चेतना को, जन आक्रोश को 
विद्रोह बताकर, लाठियां बरसाएंगे 
आंसू गैस के गोले चलाएंगे 
जन प्रतिनिधि होते हुए भी 
जनता की भावनाओ को ना समझने का, ढोंग रचाएंगे!!
जब जनता के हाथ पैर टूट जायेंगे,
हम एक बैठक कर उनके नेता से मिलने की झूठी आस जगायेंगे !!
ऐसे अन्दोलन का कोई नेता ना पाकर मन ही मन मुस्कुराएंगे 
और फिर सरकार में बैठ चिल्लायेंगे - ऐसा  अपराध ना हो दोबारा  !!
अबला, कह कहकर नारी को सहमायेंगे 
जगह जगह सिर्फ कैमरे लगायेंगे 
और अपराध हो ने के बाद
अपराधियों को पकड़ने की वीर गाथाये गायेंगे!
कोई पुख्ता कानून ना लायेंगे 
जब अपराधी बेल पर छूट जायेंग,
हम  फिर सरकार में बैठ चिल्लायेंगे - ऐसा  अपराध ना हो दोबारा  !!
कहो तो, पीड़ित का बार बार पुलिस बयान करवाएंगे 
उसके परिवार के,मन में, कानून के लम्बे चक्करो का डर बैठाएंगे! 
न्याय के मंदिर कहे जानेवाले न्यायालो में बैठे
न्यायाधीशों के हाथ बांध-उन्हें बस पूजनीय मूरत बनायेंगे!
कोई फ़ास्ट ट्रैक कोर्ट नहीं बनायेंगे
पीड़ित की वर्षों चप्पलें घिसवायेंगे 
पीड़ित का अगर आक्रोश फूटा 
तो उसी पे,न्यायलय व देव तुल्य न्यायाधीशों की 
अवमानना का केस चलाएंगे !!
और जब अपराधी पीड़ित की विवशता पे मुस्कायेंगे 
हम फिर सरकार में बैठ चिल्लायेंगे - ऐसा अपराध ना हो दोबारा  !!
यूँही चलता रहेगा क्रम,सोच सोच महलों में गर बैठे नेता, इठालायेंगे 
वो दिन दूर नहीं जब जनता गद्दी छीन 
स्वयं के, सामाजिक और नियम-कानून बनाएगी 
ऐसी रुत में, वो दिन दूर नहीं जब  ऐसी व्यवस्था चर्मराएगी 
कि कोई लाठी, कोई बन्दूक,कोई इमरजेंसी,  

उन्हें ना रोक पाएगी !!
इससे पहेले शासको जागो , समाज के ठेकेदारों जागो !!
अपनी यह निष्क्रियता त्यागो!!
लाओ मिलकर कानून ऐसा जिससे,
फिर कलंकित न हो भारत माँ का चेहरा !!
लाओ मिलकर ऐसी कानून व्यवस्था,
जिससे अपराधियों के मन में हो भय घनेरा !
और फिर सब मिलकर दोहराएंगे :-
भारत माँ के आँचल में सुरक्षित है हर नागरिक, हर अबला !!
हमारे सभ्य समाज में होगा नहीं, ऐसा अपराध फिर दोबारा !!
कहना नहीं पड़ेगा फिर यूँही, दिखावे के लिए 
"ऐसा अपराध ना हो दोबारा!!"

Voter's Day!!

The Union Cabinet declared  25th January every year as the “National Voters’ Day” beginning from year 2011 and they approved to provide voters a badge with its logo and the slogan 

“Proud to be a voter – Ready to vote”.

Many Questions arise-

• Do we as Voters, know our duties & rights? 

• Do we ever read the manifesto of parties before going to cast our Vote? 

• Do we really know much about the candidate whom we are going to Vote for??

Majority answers to all the above question would be negation & nothing more..

Manesfesto- the declairation & the promises made by various parties to lure voters.. 

• Do these promise see the real sunshine any day, during the tenure of that party, if it comes in power?

Again answer will be No...
We as Voters know well, politicians are befooling us..

Then Why don't we ask for electoral reforms???

Shouldn't we ask for few laws related to elections may be through Law or Election comission..

1. Why would any party promise Freebies in diguise manner during elections in their manifesto & campaigning speeches?? Why they are allowed to do so..??
If distribution of cash & kind during election is crime under Law.. Then Why not any Law for such dreams & dream castles that Politicians build for luring innocent  & unaware Voters??

2. Post election Caolition shouldn't be allowed.. This will stop the voters from being cheated.. 

See if independent candidates & the small parties which voter choose, because He doesn't like two or more major parties.. And the same ; post election joins the fraudlent & discarded party..

• Isn't the Voter being cheated??

Secondly if "Gadhbandhan" or coalition is to be done previous to elections - it may check two things-  
Purchasing & selling of victorious candidates, post election..

Second, It will give clear idea to the voter, about the ideology & manifesto of the candidates.
Though there are many hurdles in doing so..
But yes, there is a inevitable need to have some reforms..

3.EVM -the electronic voting machine.. 
When big democracies & most sophisticated nations have discarded the method of casting vote,through EVM- with a reasoning that, it might have flaws & may be hacked etc.. 
They are still using Ballot papers.. 
Then-Why we the largest democracy with so much manpower & so much of JUGAD Rann Neeti is following this method??

4.Manifesto is generally overlooked by voters & the media too.. Just Star campaigning is being focussed upon nothing else in print & electronic media.. 
Say, if anyone goes to look upon the manifesto before selection of,a suitable candidate.. 
WHO will ensure the voter that the party would follow that MANIFESTO in its tenure..?
Here come the need to have some tool, may be a LAW which will ensure that the all promises made before election..or certain percentage of it, would be fulfilled during the term..may be,in  first year of governance.. The manifesto can be divided into time bound goals of the Govt. for this purpose.
Else, the election of candidate may be/should be declaired Void.

Though most of my view points may look unrealistic & utopian in nature.. 
But most of you would agree there is the need to have some check.. some laws & some electoral reforms.
Unless the Voter is AWARE of his Duties as a sensible citizen in Indian democracy & unless the voter is alert & has tools to fight back for his rights. 

Celebrating VOTER'S DAY on 25th January every year- is mockery of Adult Franchise, nothing else!!

Voters are not commodities that can be sold or purchased using freebies..

Virtues, ethics & idelogies- aren't sellable product of a market.. 

This is the message that VOTERS need to send across the Nation!! 

Then only We can read the slogan aloud  
“Proud to be a voter – Ready to vote”..!!

The road has finally come to an end for the humble 25 paise coin. The Reserve Bank of India is withdrawing from circulation coins of 25 paise and below from June 30, 2011. Coins of denomination of 25 paise and below will not be accepted for exchange at the bank branches from July 1, 2011 onwards. 

We trace the history of the 25 paise coin from the British era to contemporary India. 

 

The first of the quarter rupee coins were issued in India during the reign of William IV. The coins were made of silver.

The longest reigning monarch of the United Kingdom, Queen Victoria also held the title of the Empress of India. During her reign a number of quarter rupee coins were issued. Soon after her ascent to the throne, a silver quarter rupee coin was issued in India. The coins featured the bust of a young Queen Victoria. She was made the queen soon after her 18th birthday

 

The coins issued later in Queen Victoria's reign had a more mature looking bust of the queen. The one-fourth rupee coins were made of silver.

 

While Queen Victoria was adding to her years in real life, she also put in a bit of weight on the her image on the coins.

 

The new century also witnessed a change on the British monarchy. Following the death of his mother Queen Victoria, Edward VII was crowned as the King of the United Kingdom and also as the Emperor of India. All new coins issued during the time bore his name and face.

 

A new design of coins were introduced in 1919 that sought to replace the existing silver quarter rupee coins. The new equivalent of the quarter rupee coin was the 4 aana coin, that was made from cupro-nickel instead of silver. The rising silver prices following the First World War necessitated this change. These coins had the effigy of King George V.

 

:George V was crowned the King in 1910. He was also the first reigning British Monarch to tour India. The 4 aana coins introduced in 1919 didn't gain popularity and soon the quarter rupee coins had to be brought back

 

King George VI was the last of the British monarchs to rule over India. His predecessor Edward VIII abdicated the throne in order to marry divorced American socialite Wallis Simpson. There were no coins issued for Edward VIII. While coins of other denominations went for a design change, the quarter rupee coins continued, with only a new monarch replacing the old

 

Following the Independence of India the currency system continued with the British series of coins till the establishment of the Indian Republic. The first coins of independent India were introduced on August 15, 1950 and it included the quarter rupee coin made of nickel. The coins had the words 'char aana' embossed in Devnagri script and had the Ashoka Emblem on one side.

 

Another major landmark in the history of the 25 paise coin happened following the introduction of the decimal series in accordance with the Indian Coinage Act that came into force from April 1, 1957. The 19 mm 25 paise coins were called '25 naye paise'. The tern 'naye paise' was used for wider public recognition of the new coinage system and was discontinued from June 1, 1964 when the term 'naye' was dropped. The coins weighed 5 grams and were made of nickel.

 

By the late 1960s, Indians had become used to the new coinage system. The text 'rupaiye ka chautha bhag' (one fourth of a rupee) was also replaced by 25 paise. While other coins of lower denominations underwent a major change and moved to aluminium, the 25 paise coin didn't change much.

 

In 1988 the 25 paisa coin went steel and was made of ferratic stainless steel. It was a little heavier than its predecessor at 2.83 grams but was of the same size. The last 25 paise coins seen in popular circulation were minted in the year 2002. Late 1980s to the

 

In July 2010 the Government of India unveiled the new symbol for the Indian Rupee and designer D Udaya Kumar also designed a new symbol for the paise. But with the 25 paise going out of circulation we are unlikely to see the image above anywhere.

"Kya chvanni chhaap shabd ne unhe itna hila diya ki unhone 25 paise ya chavanni ka itihaas aur sab achhe vyaktitvon ki tarah mita diya?" Humn..? Unfortunately in our country-History is made n manipulated by those who kept burying all that comes into there way! Babji proposed remove Rs.1000 note they did it to 25p. A Daughter, A Tree and A Teacher

I was delighted to learn that many of tweeeples liked my tweet regarding planting trees on birth of a daughter. Your interest in conserving ecology is welcome. Looking to your interest, I would like to share with you a tip to conserve our most precious resource viz. water while doing farming/gardening.

All you need to do is take an unglazed clay pot (matka) and place it underground, parallel to the roots of the plant or small trees. Fill it with water, cover it with the lid and cover the place. For about a week, you do not need to water the plant again. The pot will act as a natural drip irrigation vehicle. Please remember, you do not need to make holes in the matka. And if you wish to have a better result, then fill the pot with soiled water that is left out after washing of utensils. This method is already practised in some parts of Gujarat. Friends, such small acts can one day sum up into a great deed, if we make them a part of our various resolutions.

I am also reminded of another heart touching incident that someone narrated to me in his letter. This took place in a village somewhere in Veraval region of Saurashtra. He wrote about a unique experiment by a teacher of the school for growing trees. Since that it is a water scarce area, it was impossible to get water for trees. The teacher therefore asked the students to bring soiled water left out after washing of utensils at home. Each student would carry a bottle of soiled water from home daily. The students were then asked to water the plants with the soiled water. As days passed, the students and school officials had a lush green garden before themselves! Thus a teacher’s small initiative created a green island in a dry and barren area, that too with waste water. In the process, he also taught the kids to make friends with Mother Nature. I was quite touched with this; hope you too will.

Please share such tips and experiments for conserving ecology, let’s all do our bit.

मुझे जानकर आनंद हुआ कि बेटी के जन्म पर एक वृक्ष बोना चाहिए, मेरी यह ट्विट कई लोगों को पसन्द आई। पर्यावरण की रक्षा के लिए उनमें दिलचस्पी है, यह बात सराहनीय है। आपको इस बात में दिलचस्पी है तो चलिए मैं आपको बागवानी या खेती करते समय पानी की बचत करने के बारे में एक बढि़या टिप देता हूं।

ग्लेज किए बिना का एक मटका लीजिए। इसमें पानी भरकर ढंक दीजिए और इसे वृक्ष की जड़ के पास जमीन के भीतर रख दीजिए। एकाध सप्ताह तक आपको पौधे में पानी डालने की आवश्यकता नहीं रहेगी। मटका टपक सिंचाई के एक साधन के रूप में काम करेगा।

याद रखिए, आपको मटके में छेद करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, और इससे ज्यादा अच्छा परिणाम हासिल करना हो तो मिट्टी से बर्तन मांजने के बाद जो पानी बचा हो उसे मटके में भर दो। इस पद्घति का उपयोग गुजरात के कई भागों में होता है। अगर हम संकल्प करें तो इतना छोटा काम भी बड़ा परिणाम दे सकता है।

मुझे एक दूसरा हृदयस्पर्शी मौका याद आता है। किसी ने मुझे एक बार पत्र लिखकर यह घटना बतलाई थी। घटना है सौराष्ट्र के वेरावल के नजदीक के एक गांव की। गांव की एक शाला के शिक्षक और विद्यार्थियों के द्वारा वृक्ष बोने के लिए एक अनोखा प्रयोग किया गया। क्षेत्र में पानी की कमी थी इसलिए वहां वृक्षों के लिए पानी हासिल करना भी एक समस्या था। इसलिए शिक्षक ने विद्यार्थियों से कहा कि उनकी माता मिट्टी से बर्तन मांज ले, उसके बाद वह मिट्टी वाला पानी बोतल में भरकर ले आएं।

प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी रोजाना मिट्टी वाला पानी बोतल में घर से भर कर लाता । शिक्षक ने विद्यार्थियों को यह पानी वृक्षों को पिलाने के लिए कहा। दिन बीतते गए और शाला के सामने एक हरा-भरा बगीचा तैयार हो गया। एक शिक्षक के छोटे से प्रयोग ने अनुपयोगी पानी के उपयोग से सूखे क्षेत्र में हरियाली बिखेर दी। और तो और इस प्रयोग के माध्यम से शिक्षक ने विद्यार्थियों को प्रकृति माता के साथ मित्रता करना भी सिखा दिया। मुझे इस घटना ने छू लिया। आशा है कि आपको भी छुएगी।

पर्यावरण की रक्षा के लिए इस प्रकार की टिप्स और प्रयोगों की जानकारी एक दुसरे को देते रहिये।चलिए, हम सभी पर्यावरण की सुरक्षा में अपना योगदान दें।

મને જાણીને આનંદ થયો કે દિકરીનાં જનમ પર એક વૃક્ષ વાવવું જોઈએ એવી મારી ટ્વીટ ઘણા લોકોને પસંદ પડી. પર્યાવરણની રક્ષા માટે તમને રસ પડે છે એ વાત સરાહનીય છે. તમને આ બાબતમાં રસ પડે છે તો ચાલો હું તમને બાગકામ કે ખેતકામ કરતી વખતે પાણીની બચત કેવી રીતે થઈ શકે તે અંગેની એક સરસ ટીપ આપું.

ગ્લેઝ કર્યા વિનાનું એક માટલું લો, તેમાં પાણી ભરીને ઢાંકી દઈને તેને વૃક્ષ કે છોડનાં મૂળિયા પાસે જમીનની અંદર મૂકી દો. એકાદ અઠવાડિયા સુધી તમારે છોડને પાણી પાવાની જરૂર નહિ રહે. માટલું ટપક સિંચાઈનાં એક સાધન તરીકે કામ કરશે. યાદ રાખો, તમારે માટલામાં કાણા પાડવાની જરૂર નથી. અને હજી વધારે સારું પરિણામ મેળવવું હોય તો માટીથી વાસણ ઘસ્યા બાદ જે પાણી વધ્યું હોય તે પાણી માટલામાં ભરી દો. આ પધ્ધતિનો ઉપયોગ ગુજરાતનાં ઘણા ભાગોમાં થાય છે. જો આપણે સંકલ્પ કરીએ તો આટલું નાનું કામ ઘણું મોટું પરિણામ આપી જાય છે.

મને એક બીજો હ્રદયસ્પર્શી પ્રસંગ યાદ આવે છે. કોઈકે એકવાર મને પત્ર લખીને આ પ્રસંગ જણાવ્યો હતો. પ્રસંગ છે સૌરાષ્ટ્રનાં વેરાવળ નજીકનાં એક ગામનો. ગામની એક શાળાનાં શિક્ષક અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દ્વારા વૃક્ષો વાવવા માટે એક અનોખો પ્રયોગ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. વિસ્તારમાં પાણીની અછત હતી એટલે ત્યાં વૃક્ષો માટે પાણી મેળવવાનો પ્રશ્ન હતો. એટલે શિક્ષકે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને તેમની માતા માટીથી વાસણો ઘસી લે પછી તે માટીવાળુ પાણી એક બોટલમાં ભરી લાવવાનું કહ્યું. પ્રત્યેક વિદ્યાર્થી દરરોજ માટીનાં પાણીવાળી એક બોટલ ઘેરથી લઈ આવવા માંડ્યો. શિક્ષકે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને આ જ પાણી ઝાડને પીવડાવવા માટે કહ્યું. દિવસો વીતતા ગયા અને શાળાની સામે એક લીલોછમ બગીચો તૈયાર થઈ ગયો. એક શિક્ષકનાં નાનકડા પ્રયોગે નકામા પાણીનાં ઉપયોગથી સૂકા પ્રદેશમાં હરિયાળી લાવી દીધી અને વળી આ પ્રયોગનાં માધ્યમથી શિક્ષકે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પ્રકૃતિમાતા સાથે મિત્રતા કેળવવાનું પણ શીખવી દીધું. મને આ ઘટના ઘણી સ્પર્શી ગઈ. આશા છે કે તમને પણ એ સ્પર્શી જશે.

પર્યાવરણની રક્ષા માટે આ પ્રકારની ટીપ્સ અને પ્રયોગોની જાણકારી પરસ્પર આપતા રહીએ. ચાલો આપણે સૌ પર્યાવરણની જાળવણીમાં આપણો ફાળો આપીએ.

We are purchasing technology from France for Uranium based Nuclear Power Plants ! 

Do we really need Uranium Based nuclear power plants at Jaitapur?

We don’t have good deposits of Uranium but we have deposits of Thorium. Then why not Thorium????

Secondly, The nuclear reactor that we are heading towards would be made on High risk EARTH QUAKE PRONE LAND. (Greenpeace is also protesting the plan, arguing that the proposed site is in an "extremely risky" earthquake zone.)

What is the Government's strategy then?

They don’t understand the scientific aspect of their policies OR Are they busy shaking hands with Foreigners by being great markets to them..

After US President OBAMA; now French president SARKOZY is busy filling his wish bag with business & job opportunities provided by India to his people..

Serious issue is- that Indian Govt. wouldn’t stop there. China & Russia are in a queue to exploit Indian market after USA & France… 

(Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev are also scheduled to visit New Delhi this month.)

Why don’t we work on the idea given 5 years back; by our Great scientist & then President of India Dr. Abdul Kalam??

We have enormous scope to be energy Independent.. If we see too these areas..

NUCLEAR POWER

It is essential to pursue the development of nuclear power using Thorium, reserves of which are higher in the country . Technology development has to be accelerated for Thorium based reactors since the raw material for Thorium is abundantly available in our country. For  Uranium as raw material we will be mostly dependent on others..

"But Thorium dependency is on our own mother land once it is developed."

SOLAR ENERGY

India has abundant sunshine in whole of western region… Solar energy generation could be a better option to put resource in to become energy efficient..

Dr. Kalam said “Solar energy in particular requires unique, massive applications in the agricultural sector, where farmers need electricity exclusively in the daytime. This could be the primary demand driver for solar energy. Our farmers demand for electric power today is significantly high to make solar energy economical in large scale.
The current high capital costs of solar power stations can be reduced by grid-locked 100 MW sized Very Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic (VLSPV) or Solar Thermal Power Stations. In the very near future, breakthroughs in nanotechnologies promise significant increase in solar cell efficiencies from current 15% values to over 50% levels. These would in turn reduce the cost of solar energy production. Our science laboratories should mount a R&D Programme for developing high efficiency CNT based Photo Voltaic Cells.
In the Power generation Sector of the energy economy, we need to fully use the technologies now available for generating power from municipal waste. Studies indicate that as much as 5800 MW of power can be generated by setting up 900 electric power plants spread over in different parts of the country which can be fuelled by municipal waste.

The electric power generation and creation of clean environment are the twin advantages.

 
BIOFUELS
We have nearly 60 million hectares of wasteland, of which 30 million hectares are available for energy plantations like "Jatropha". Once grown, the crop has a life of 50 years. Each acre will produce about 2 tonnes of bio-diesel at about Rs. 20-30 per litre. Biodiesel is carbon neutral and many valuable by-products flow from this agro-industry.

This needs to be a urgent R&D programme. India has a potential to produce nearly 60 million tones of bio-fuel annually, Indian Railways has already taken a significant step of running passenger trains with a 5% blend of bio-fuel sourced from its in-house esterification plants.

What is needed is a full economic chain from farming, harvesting, and extraction to esterification, blending and marketing. Apart from employment generation, bio-fuel has a significant potential to lead our country towards energy independence.
We need to develop R&D in way to produce energy from our rich thorium deposits in future to be energy independent.

HYDRO POWER

Instead of thinking on interlinking of rivers only at times of flood and drought, we must start this programme with a great sense of urgency. It has the promise of freeing the country from the endless cycle of floods and droughts. Also, it will provide a new renewable source of energy.

Use our own resources to be ENERGY INDEPENDENT BY YEAR 2030 !!!!! 

We shouldn’t give message to Foreigners that - if you favour us with a single sentence on UN security councils' membership for India.. “We are open because of our short sightedness & ignorance…Come exploit us !!” "We are easy prey & market for you…”"Come to India, enjoy great Indian hospitality & As souvenir- fill your bags with lots of business & job opportunities..

No way!! 

Stop Government from doing that.!! 

We are spending billions of Dollars as well as we are becoming a prey to Foreigners.

India has always been a " Sone ki Chidiya"- The golden egg laying Hen. We Indians are richer than any other nation of the world. We are only loosing our faith in ourselves.. Just analyse... We have outstanding Calibre, talents , brains, cultural diversity & heritage..We have enormous ability of innovation in least resources.. We have been great Inventors through out the history.

India has indispensable courage, manpower, intelligence & patience. Patience & satisfaction has been unbeatable power of we Indians.
We have been trustworthy, ethical and committed workers in the world.

Today the very TECHNOLOGY of which USA boasts of is somehow a gift of Indians to US. Most technological fields have NRI. No sector of American economy is there, in which Indians don't play a KEY ROLE. If we can make a country which has high rate of juvenile delinquency & illiteracy, A nation with lots of non-contributing Manpower(dependent population)- The USA.. A SUPER POWER.. Why can't we make ourselves THAT??

Since years we have been debating on the issue of BRAIN DRAIN.. but what actually we have done to provide our skilled, well qualified, technical work force??

Though Indians might have been attracted towards foreign due to the glitter & money of West.. But definitely they would be happy to come back to their mother land, If we would provide them an infrastructure and a little of facilities.

They will feel proud to contribute for the progress of their OWN NATION.

All we need is to provide a Canvas to them to create that beautiful picture of INDIA..It is definitely a  better way to develop ourselves.

So please restrain from unthinkably following West to find the solution of Problems of India's Economy.

Don't be a market for US as we have been for EAST INDIA COMPANY. 

We have lots of manpower. Restrain from tremendous computerisation and mechanization. We don't need machines much. Don't import anything ..

Utilize OWN SKILLS to CREATE OWN WORLD!
